After EMR class:

  • Me: So we practiced CPR on a dummy in the ambulance today while the instructor was driving around the parking lot.
  • Dad: Did you have fun?
  • Me: It was alright, although since it was right after lunch....a lot of us got car-sick and some of my friends even threw up.
  • Dad: Well, better get used to it. Paramedics don't get to choose when they perform CPR. You can't say "I'm not going to do CPR in a moving vehicle just cause I just finished lunch" right?
